Quala Care was founded on August 6, 1990 by Janet Harrington and Debra de la Garza. They were teachers and friends looking for quality care for their babies (pictured above, all grown up now). They wanted the safety and accountability of a center that would still provide a warm and nurturing environment. They founded Quala Care to provide families with loving and educational care at an affordable price.
Proud grandmas now, Janet and Debbie remain actively involved in operations along with Janet's daughter, Stella James, who has been managing the Center since 2004. Four of their grandchildren actually attend the Center as well, the babies are pictured below. This personal family involvement is why so many of our parents say Quala Care feels like a home away from home!
Established in 1990, Quala Care Child Center is a family-owned early education center that exists to provide an affordable, high-quality, developmentally appropriate environment that promotes each child's social/emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Quala Care embraces the belief that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children! We recognize that and foster an active partnership between home and school. Parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of Center activities, including birthday and holiday celebrations, field trips, and other social events. Parents are welcome visitors in the classroom at all times. We are a learning community where personal and professional growth is encouraged and where everyone's perspective - children, parents, and teachers - is valued. You are always welcome at the Center and it is through this active partnership that we can create the best beginning for the children!
Quala Care provides a safe and loving environment for children who are between six weeks and twelve years old. Individual schedules can be tailored to suit your family's needs.
Your child's development will be enhanced in the warm and loving atmosphere of the Center. We will supplement the care and affection that is present in the home while involving your child in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day.
Our programs encourage your children to learn more about their world through exploration, questioning, and choosing within limits. We help your child to develop concepts from experiences by providing challenges appropriate to their age and developmental level.
Children learn by active participation in play. Our curriculum is designed to enhance the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth of the whole child.
